Looking for advice, information and people to converse with about your Ford? Check out for all your car needs from figuring out how to finish that problematic repair to getting advice on a new purchase or showing off your current car. The Australian Ford Forum is a group of car enthusiasts who can share their love for the brand and cars alike, as well as staying up to date on the happenings with the Ford company. It’s your one stop source for help, news, pictures and more. Doesn’t matter where you live, we all love our cars.

While browsing the site for the first time, it is very easy to navigate through; having links at the top of the page to access different pages such as the gallery or FAQ’s, the terms and conditions were outlined very well, and there are a good amount of “sticky’s” to explain important aspects of the forum. Many posts on the forums have quite a few responses with answers to the members questions; you do not have to be a member to access the posts, however you must sign up to post, see the member list or access the calendar.

In addition to being user friendly, the site is also visually appealing; calm colors, very legible font with a good size, and many headers exlpaining each part of the page. Australian Ford Forums has a very similar look to many forums on the internet and I think that’s a good thing. It improves accessability because visitors/members can view posts and such more quickly from experience at similar looking sites.

When registering for the forum, the steps are simple; enter your date of birth, read and agree to the terms, then enter personal information such as username, password, and email address. After typing in the captcha, there are options to select your time zone and enter a referrers name if applicable, then click ‘complete registration’. An email will be sent including a link to confirm your desire to participate in the forum and to verify the email address you registered. Upon clicking the link, you will be taken to a screen stating your account has been submitted for approval and that you will be notified by email when your account has been activated by the moderator.

Another email will be sent to you with an activation link once your account is approved. While waiting for approval you can still view posts on the forums and gather any information you may be looking for.
Once you are a full member of the forum, make a post introducing yourself to this group of people and explaining what you are looking for in the forum. You’ll find it’s a good group of people looking to share interests and help each other if possible while making new online friends.
