The Wonderful World of Wembley

Anyone with any amount of knowledge about football has heard of Wembley Stadium. First built in 1923 in London, Wembley has recently been renovated in 2007 and is now commonly referred to as “New Wembley”. A remarkable sight for almost all who have been able to witness such a remarkable structure, the more than $500 million complex is really something else. Known as the “Venue of Legends”, it plays host to one of the most important football matches in history.

On May 28th 2011, The New Wembley will host the 2011 UEFA Champions League Final that features arguably the two best club football teams in the world. Barcelona will meet Manchester United at new Wembley in one of the most anticipated league finals in history. Manchester United will be looking for revenge from their defeat at the hands of Barcelona in the league final in 2009 in Rome. For the normal soccer fan, attending a game like this would be a dream come true, and for those who have the resources to get to Wembley, finally having that ticket in your hand, is a once in a lifetime feeling.

Every year, that ticket is a display in itself. And this year is more of the same. The Champions League Final Tickets portray a theme of strength and sophistication. The darker blue color and lions surrounding the coveted Champions League trophy show the strength and power that is a necessity to raise that trophy on May 28th. The writing is what gives the ticket its sophistication and class due to the dark red color and bold statement the words make on the ticket. In reality, the ticket shows all of what Wembley Stadium along with London stands for, a powerful and bold statement with a sense of superiority and class.

All of the things the ticket portrays are needed by the two clubs vying for the chance to raise the trophy on May 28th. This match will be a spectacle for football fans all over the world; you do not want to miss this one.
